LED DALI Controller
A DALI signal is commonly used in building control for simple and uncomplicated lighting and light scene control. Devices with a DALI interface, mainly limited to luminaire control gear, sensors, and push-buttons for lighting applications, are assigned unique DALI short addresses (up to 64 per line).
The DALI control unit uses these addresses to:
- Query the status of lamps and control gear (bidirectional communication)
- Set them to the desired operating state
One advantage of the DALI standard is that two conductors of a 5-pole sheathed cable can be used for signal transmission. This means the insulated but unshielded signal cable can be located parallel to a live cable without worrying about communication disruption due to voltage inductions, simplifying building installation and cabling considerably.
The DALI control signal comes from a gateway, usually a KNX to DALI coupler/signal converter, or a stand-alone push-button or control device. Dimming behavior and PowerOn behavior of an operating device can be parameterized directly at its DALI interface using a DALI USB mouse or our DALI Bluetooth interface with a free app for smartphones.
DALI Upgrade - Cheaper than a DALI Driver
Give your TRIAC dimmable products an "upgrade" and control them conveniently via DALI with our upstream DALI trailing edge phase control dimmer for dimmable 230V LED luminaires/transformers (art. no.: 115807).
- One DALI address (factory settings DALI group 0)
- Can be parameterized (min-max, dimming curve, etc.) e.g. via 115514 DALI Interface Bluetooth
- Dims one or more dimmable luminaires or operating devices (transformers) in the phase section up to an output of 200VA
- Minimum brightness can be set
- Standby consumption <0.3W
- 100-240V AC
- IP20, 3-year guarantee
- 15 cm long connection cable
- Self-resetting overload and overheating protection
- Small form factor (52x52x27 mm)
